Support & FAQ
ShredCast takes a photo you provide, estimates your current body-fat range, and generates a set of AI-created milestone images showing what steady progress could look like at lower body-fat levels. Weekly photo check-ins let you track real change over time and keep the milestones grounded in your own progress.
ShredCast's body-fat estimate is a range, not a precise clinical measurement. Expect it to land within roughly ±3–5 percentage points of typical clinical methods (such as DEXA or skinfold calipers) for most body types and photo conditions.
The single most useful number isn't any individual estimate — it's the trend across your weekly check-ins. Consistent photos, taken the same way each week, make that trend meaningful even if any one estimate is off by a few points.
You're always in control of your photos and generated images:
ShredCast does not keep a persistent copy of your photos on its processing service. OpenAI may retain API content in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days under its default controls. See our Privacy Policy for details and for instructions on revoking future AI data sharing.
ShredCast subscriptions are billed and managed through your Apple ID. To cancel:
Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period; you'll keep access until the period ends. Apple's refund policies apply to any refund requests.
ShredCast checks each photo before analysis to keep estimates reliable. Common reasons a photo is rejected:
Retake the photo in even lighting, standing straight, with your full body in frame, and try again.
Email us and we'll get back to you, typically within 2 business days.
